Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Development Manager to join our team at Damen Naval. This role will be responsible for managing functional application activities, addressing operational issues, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with solution providers for enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports Application Use: Enhance (engineering) applications to meet business needs.
  • Develops Specifications: Improve existing and new applications to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Drives Performance: Ensure smooth application execution and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyzes Issues: Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Reports Bugs: Communicate with external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Advises Stakeholders: Align stakeholders on issue impact and resolution.
  • Verifies Solutions: Enhance functionality to meet business requirements.
  • Provides Support: Assist users with application-related queries.
  • Tests Enhancements: Validate enhancements before deployment.
  • Contributes to Documentation: Develop training materials and guides for application use.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar position, preferably in a corporate environment as part of a staff department.
  • Experience in application maintenance, preferably within a technical, complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Bachelor's or Master's level in IT or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience with 3DX Dassault Systems or SAP is a plus.
  • Good command of English (written & verbal).
  • Excellent references and a clean pre-employment screening record.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport required.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 8% holiday pay.
  • 27 holidays and 13 ADV days per year.
  • Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
  • PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
  • Profit sharing based on company results.
