About the Role

As a BESS Engineer in our Innovation team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of cutting-edge algorithms and software solutions that optimize battery storage operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of DNV's battery storage technology into our software offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain algorithms that support our customers in monitoring and managing their renewable energy assets
  • Collaborate closely with our software teams to integrate algorithms into our products
  • Participate in internal and external feedback sessions to ensure battery storage-specific algorithms are scalable and easy to implement
  • Contribute to the development of innovative product solutions that leverage physics-based modeling, data-based modeling, and machine learning techniques

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the renewable energy or automotive (EV) industries, with a focus on BESS operations and maintenance
  • Demonstrable domain knowledge of battery storage operation and maintenance practices and technology
  • Python coding skills and experience with SCADA data processing
  • Full professional proficiency in written and oral English
