About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BESS Engineer to join our Innovation team at GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of algorithms and software solutions that optimize battery storage operations and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop algorithms to support our customers in monitoring and managing their renewable energy assets
  • Collaborate with our software teams to integrate algorithms into our products
  • Participate in internal and external feedback sessions to ensure battery storage specific algorithms are scalable and easy for broad implementation
  • Develop production-grade solutions and establish a robust professional network within DNV and GPM

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with operational complexity of Battery Energy Storage Systems BESS, acquired within the renewable energy or automotive (EV) industries
  • Demonstrable domain knowledge of battery storage operation and maintenance practices and technology
  • Knowledge of monitoring and/or optimizing battery performance to ensure efficient energy storage and delivery
  • Python coding skills
  • Full professional proficiency in written and oral English
