Cyber Security Expert for Fugro's Fleet Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Expert to join our Fleet Services team at Fugro. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our information and operational technologies.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing changes to policies, procedures, response plans, recovery plans, and systems to reduce business risk. This includes:
- Ensuring IT services, solutions, and assets comply with Fugro and international legislative/regulatory requirements;
- Performing Cyber Security Audits for FS, discussing compliance and audit findings with management, sharing relevant risk analysis, and developing action plans to address them and drive remediation activities across the organisation;
- Driving education and increasing Cyber Security awareness, providing risk advice, and collaborating with Security Operations Centre, Marine IT, and Local IT to high-priority incidents and capturing lessons learned;
- Working on supply chain and other cyber risk assessments;
- Collaborating with stakeholders across all functions within all regions;
- SUPPORTING THE BUSINESS WITHIN THE PROCESS REGARDING CYBER SECURITY RELATED ASPECTS, SUPPORTING WITHIN THE CYBER SECURITY AUDITING PROCESS (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL) AND OTHER RELATED CYBER SECURITY ASSESSMENTS;
- If necessary, willing to travel occasionally;
- Maintaining the Ship Cyber Security Plan.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor degree in an IT-related discipline;
- A minimum of 1-3 years of previous working experience preferably in e.g. Information Technology, Operational Technology, and Network & IT Infrastructure and/or shipping;
- The ability to build strong relationships and support both internal and external clients;
- Owning and taking initiative, acting with confidence, making prompt and clear decisions with appropriate urgency while considering others' perspectives;
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (verbal and written);
- Knowledge of Information Security standards, such as ISO 27001, IACS UR E26/E27, NIST, and relevant legal compliance aspects;
- Information Security certifications, such as CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, are seen as a plus;
- Experience working with auditors and IT Risk and Security governance is seen as a plus.
Fugro offers a competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
