The Role
We are seeking an Expert in Naval Engineering Application Development to support our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform: Teamcenter. You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across our engineering processes, making a tangible impact on our projects by providing good service and effective support to all project members working in or with Teamcenter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate engineering business process needs into functional specifications for application developments.
- Analyse issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
- Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
- Manage interfaces between applications and Teamcenter.
- Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
- Setup and configure project environments within Teamcenter.
- Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
- Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Teamcenter.
- Prepare and develop Teamcenter training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
- Develop and maintain specific tools to support special needs for Engineering.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency with Teamcenter & TCRA applications (software).
- Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
- Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
- Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands.
- Skilled in working with Microsoft Excel and preferably good knowledge of VBA (coding).
- Excellent references as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of approximately €60,000 per year, plus 8% holiday pay.
- 27 holidays and 13 ADV days.
- Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
- PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
