Job Description

As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in enabling our Finance & Risk stakeholders to execute and adopt ABN AMRO Bank's Data Management Framework. Your primary objective will be to contribute to having complete and fit-for-purpose data within the Bank, improving Data Quality for Finance & Risk Reports and Models, and ensuring that data is in line with internal and regulatory expectations.

You will achieve this by following the centralized Data Governance processes as defined in our Data Risk Policy and its Standard. This includes developing more detailed Guidelines which are specific to the Finance & Risk architectural landscape. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and monitoring the execution of this implementation, building Management Information Dashboards and reporting to Finance & Risk Management Teams and ExBo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Finance & Risk stakeholders in the execution and implementation of the Data Management Framework
  • Developing Guidelines & templates to be used by our F&R stakeholders
  • Monitoring the progress of the execution and reporting on that to the Finance & Risk MTs via MI Dashboards
  • Proposal for improvements on the Way of Working and processes, and implementation of the same
  • Providing knowledge sharing sessions to F&R stakeholders

We are seeking a pro-active, passionate individual who enjoys bringing structure to a continuously changing environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving change in organizations with complex setups and recognizes the importance of Data Management.

Requirements:

  • Higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Data Management best practices (DAMA)
  • Experience in data management and/or Finance and Risk management Reporting (prior experience with BCBS 239 is a strong plus)
  • Experience with regulations and regulatory requirements
  • Affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management, Reporting & Modelling
  • Strong sense for analysis
  • Familiarity with the Agile way of working
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
