Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Risk Manager to join our team at ABN AMRO. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in implementing robust security measures and a deep understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
About the Role:
The organization is currently undergoing significant changes to serve customers and the market better, with a focus on safety and reliability. As an IT Risk Manager, you will report directly to the Manager Risk Management of ICS and be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive information risk management strategies and policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate risk assessments across the organization, identifying and mitigating information security risks and perform vulnerability assessments to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive data and systems.
- Provide clear expert opinions and recommendations on information risk management issues to senior management and relevant committees.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports, trend analyses, and key performance indicators related to information security to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as IT, legal, compliance, and senior management to drive a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies in cybersecurity to proactively enhance the companies' security posture.
About the Team:

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ideally around 10 years of experience in EDP audit or information risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Professional certifications such as RE, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
- Experience with interpreting external regulations in area of Information security and data management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, relevant regulations (e.g., NIST, DORA, GDPR, PSD II, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to analyze complex information security issues, develop actionable plans, and drive results.
- Experience in enhancing IT Risk awareness and providing training in the IT Risk Management domain.
- Excellent communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Dutch language proficiency is mandatory for this position.
What We Offer:
- An estimated annual salary of approximately €110,000 - €140,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
- Five weeks of vacation per year, plus four additional weeks available for purchase.
- A personal development budget of €1,000 per year, accumulative up to €3,000.
- Possibility to work from home, subject to consultation with your team and manager.
- An annual public transport pass with free travel throughout the Netherlands.
