Job Description

TenneT, a leading European grid operator, is seeking an Electrical Systems Technical Lead to join our Grid Field Operations team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our assets while maximizing their availability.

About the Role
  • You will set the technical direction for operations and maintenance, driving the energy transition forward.
  • As a member of the grid connection system (GCS) management steering team, you will work together in shared responsibility for the custodianship of the GCS for availability, budget, risk, and quality.
  • You will manage a portfolio of small projects, prioritizing work according to risk and financial considerations.
  • Identify defects and non-compliances from project design and manage these under a warranty process with key vendors.
  • Lead design efforts and manage project execution, ensuring routine monitoring and fault management resolution by coordinating required activities and organizing or providing technical support.
  • Manage the timely preparation, execution, and administrative completion of maintenance activities and prioritize these activities on platform and cable systems.
  • Evaluate business requirements on larger projects and provide technical input and Lessons Learned to enable future safe and efficient operations and maintenance of existing and new assets.
About You
  • You hold an engineering degree on BSc or MSc level with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience in offshore platforms or related fields.
  • You have relevant knowledge and experience working offshore and working on maintenance projects, understanding the dynamics between different systems.
  • You are familiar with operational environments and usage of maintenance management systems like SAP, Maximo, Ultimo, with a strong preference for SAP experience.
  • You are an established and accepted technical leader, able to effectively work in multi-cultural teams in both onshore and offshore domains.
  • You have experience in various electrical and process systems and knowledge of control interfaces for these systems.
  • You understand offshore regulatory conditions and legislation.
  • You possess a natural ability to share knowledge and experience to improve processes and assets.
  • You are a team player, supporting the Grid Connection Manager with Scope of Work, Quality Assurance, Risk Assessments, and needed interfacing on all levels and departments.
Benefits
  • The salary for this position is in grade 8, between €3,879,- and €7,660,- gross based on a full-time position.
  • The weekly working time is 40 hours.
  • The type of contract is indefinite.
