Material Coordinator Shipbuilding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Material Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the logistical process of our shipbuilding operations.
Key Responsibilities- Verifying, correcting, and completing technical drawings;
- Monitoring and maintaining logistical material planning for construction sites;
- Collecting and analyzing technical information for shipbuilding yards;
- Responding to inquiries from construction sites, project managers, central engineering, procurement, and central warehouse regarding various matters (unclearities, progress, expected delivery dates, unexpected events, etc.).
- MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or Shipbuilding;
- Some knowledge of IFS and Excel is an asset;
- At least 3 years of experience working in a production environment;
- Experience with technical preparation, planning, and logistics;
- Fluent English and Dutch, both spoken and written;
- You are an enthusiastic team player with an eye for detail and a knack for prioritizing tasks.
