Damen Services is the service division within the Damen Group, delivering all after-sales activities for the Damen portfolio with a focus on workboats and offshore support vessels. Our goal is to be a strategic partner, providing sustainable service and support throughout the lifecycle of Damen customer assets.
The RoleWe are seeking a Field Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Field Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coaching, and developing Field Service Engineers to ensure the quality requirements and delivery reliability of the department are met. You will also provide timely provision of necessary items, such as tools, training, and PPE, to enable Field Service Engineers to perform their work effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and deploy the right employees for staffing requests;
- Manage and monitor the deployment of employees in terms of quality and planning;
- Register and analyze feedback from the field;
- Co-monitor the departmental budget for tools and training;
- Coordinate with all teams within Damen Services;
- Evaluate project execution and ensure full completion;
- Initiate and assess improvements at product, service, and process levels;
- Conduct performance and assessment interviews, and contribute to the personal development of employees;
- Several years of experience in a service organization, with a focus on planning and a dynamic working environment;
- Good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing (and preferably also Dutch);
- A pragmatic and persuasive approach, with a people-minded attitude;
- Decisive and flexible in your working style;
- Able to influence, put things into perspective, and have the patience to achieve results;
- Well able to manage expectations;
- Technical specialist knowledge or experience is an advantage;
