Facility Maintenance Specialist
Mérieux NutriSciences is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a trusted partner in the field of public health, we strive to make food systems safer, healthier, and more sustainable.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of laboratory facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Manage laboratory equipment, including repair, maintenance, and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality services.
- Purchase lab devices and manage budgets for equipment maintenance and supplier-related projects.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities meet regulatory requirements and safety standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in supplier management, equipment maintenance, preferably in a laboratory or technical environment.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with knowledge of laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
What We Offer
- A full-time gross salary starting from €3,300 per month, depending on professional experience.
- A holiday allowance equal to 8% of the annual gross salary.
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week, with the possibility to work from home two days a week.
- An advantageous pension scheme.
- A one-year employment contract, with the intention of moving to permanent employment thereafter.
- 27 vacation days per year, with a fixed travel allowance of up to €140 net per month.
