Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front Desk Expert at Moxy Schiphol Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Services: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
  • Payment Processing: Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit or credit.
  • Check-Out Procedures: Process all check-outs including resolving and any late and disputed charges.
  • Communication: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Guest Information: Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Reporting: Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Cash Handling: Complete designated cashier and closing reports. Count bank at the beginning and end of the shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Requirements

  • Personality: You are a FUN HUNTER, STYLISH, and LIGHTHEARTED individual who is passionate about hospitality.
  • Team Player: You are a team player who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Communication Skills: You are able to communicate effectively in English (Dutch is a plus, not a must).
  • Availability: You are available to work both weekdays and weekends in different shifts.
