As an Accounting Professional at IDEXX, you will be part of a dynamic environment where you will be exposed to various accounting scopes, including General Ledger accounting, Bank Accounting & Reconciliations, and Fixed Assets Accounting.

About This Role

In this position, you will work with SAP ERP accounting system, adhering to US GAAP in practice as well as local GAAP for 34 different entities. You will ensure IDEXX complies with VAT and INTRASTAT regulations. Collaborating with peers, auditors, and finance departments, you will guarantee the general ledger's accuracy.

Requirements

  • A Business Management student with a Finance or Accounting focus
  • Love for numbers, good communication skills, and ability to multitask
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Assertiveness, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Organizational skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Professional attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn

Some Practical Details

  • Must be enrolled as a student towards attaining a degree to secure university approval to start the assignment
  • If not an European national, need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement
  • Available to start in January or February 2025 and can work full-time (40 hours a week) for 5-6 months
  • Hybrid position allowing both home and office work in alignment with your manager
