Job Title: Contract Manager

Boskalis is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for providing contractual support to project management on international marine infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a proper project administration, including the administration of variation orders and claims.
  • Ensure the proper and timely submission of contract deliverables in relation to the main contract and subcontracts.
  • Reviewing documents in relation to specific project(s), such as: joint venture or consortium agreements, main contract and subcontracts.
  • Drafting and reviewing of (covering) letters, variation orders and claims addressed to or received from partners, client and subcontractors.
  • Proactively contributing to all required contract and / or subcontract negotiations during the execution phase of a project.
  • Liaising with the insurance -, procurement - and treasury department and the legal counsel involved.
  • Increasing contractual awareness within the project team and supporting and developing expertise within the legal & contract management department.
Requirements:
  • Master / bachelor's degree: preferably in Quantity Surveying or master's degree in Law.
  • At least five (5) years of working experience as a contract manager.
  • Knowledge of international construction contracts such as FIDIC / LOGIC contracts is an advantage.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail and being a team player.
