Job Description

At Atithi Indian Restaurant Rotterdam, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that showcase the flavors and spices of India.

Salary: €2,298.64 - €2,858.07 per month

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard and that health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen assistants, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies accordingly, working within budget constraints
  • Develop new recipes and menus, taking into account customer feedback and trends in the industry
Requirements
  • MBO Level 3/ EQF-3/ Secondary Vocational Education Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year diploma in hotel management or equivalent field
  • Permanent residence in EU/EER/Switzerland
  • Ability to communicate in English/Dutch
