Job Title: Head of IT

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our IT department, overseeing the development and implementation of our technology strategy. As Head of IT, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems, and providing exceptional support to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the school's goals and objectives
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Oversee the management of our IT infrastructure, including network, cloud, and security systems
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services, including technical support, helpdesk services, and project management
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that meet the needs of our staff and students
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of IT services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with network, cloud, and security systems
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
