About the Role

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to join our Amsterdam office. As a leading firm in the CRE industry, we offer full-service engineering, environmental, and energy consulting and design services globally. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage skilled practices in Technical and Environmental Due Diligence to deliver best-in-class services for Commercial Real Estate clients.
  • Build and manage high-performance teams, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion of staff assignments.
  • Take accountability for invoicing and accounts receivable, building company credibility and trust with prospective customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the practice, supporting additional business development efforts.

Person Specification

  • Relevant environmental and/or surveying qualifications.
  • Existing client network and the ability to generate new client relationships.
  • Proven new business generation experience.
  • Five to ten+ years post-qualification experience.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Existing relationships with key commercial clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain and interpret complex issues.
  • High energy, drive, and ambition.
  • Proven track record of superior client service and practice management.
  • Complex sales and relationship-based selling experience in civil and survey industries.
  • Ability to manage and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading from printed sources and computer screen.
