About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Process Administrator to join our team at Maersk. As a Customs Process Administrator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and organizing customs services, ensuring timely and accurate completion of import and export declarations, and maintaining a first-class business relationship with customers and internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize customs services, including order acceptance, registration, and customs clearance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of import and export declarations, including certificates and incident resolution.
  • Deliver financial activities related to customs house brokerage in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collate and present data reports to management, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and update operating manuals regularly to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance procedures are up-to-date and reflect current working practices.
  • Meet local customs authorities' and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain a first-class business relationship with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in customs-related projects and ensure training is completed to cover all accounts in the team.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant customs experience or certification is an asset.
  • Local customs authorities' knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience with customs software is a plus.
  • Outlook and user-level experience of Microsoft applications.
  • Customer-facing and interaction skills with a high level of customer orientation.
  • Team engagement and support.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Dutch and English language proficiency.
