Role Overview: Customs Process Administrator
The Customs Process Administrator (CPA) plays a crucial role within a team, responsible for coordinating and managing the complete range of customs services. This includes order acceptance, order registration, document collection, and facilitating the release of goods and customs clearance.
A CPA will receive comprehensive internal and external training, including online training focused on customs legislation and international trade, along with daily support.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute customs clearances, including necessary certifications, and provide solutions to any incidents that arise. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements. Oversee the timely and precise execution of all financial activities related to Customs House Brokerage. Compile and present data reports to Management, Customers, Internal Stakeholders, Compliance, and Implementation Teams. Regularly review and update all Operating Manuals as necessary. Ensure compliance with standards as defined in the Operating Manuals. Maintain up-to-date Quality Assurance Procedures that accurately reflect current practices. Ensure all local customs authorities' and statutory requirements are met or exceeded. Foster strong business relationships with all customers and internal stakeholders. Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and expertise exchange. Lead or participate in Customs-related projects proactively. Complete necessary training to cover all accounts within the team. Promote team spirit and employee engagement.Required Qualifications:
Strong administrative capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Relevant customs experience or certification is advantageous. Familiarity with local customs authorities is beneficial. Experience with relevant Customs software is a plus. Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft applications at a user level. Excellent customer interaction skills with a strong customer orientation. Commitment to team engagement and support. Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
