Role Overview: Customs Process Administrator

The Customs Process Administrator (CPA) plays a vital role within a team, responsible for coordinating and managing a comprehensive range of customs services. This includes order acceptance, order registration, document collection, and ensuring the release of goods and customs clearance.

As a CPA, you will receive extensive training both internally and externally, including online courses on customs legislation and international trade, along with daily support.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute customs clearances, including obtaining necessary certificates, and provide solutions to any incidents that arise. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements. Oversee the timely and precise execution of all financial activities related to Customs House Brokerage. Compile and present data reports to Management, Customers, Internal Stakeholders, Compliance, and Implementation Teams. Regularly review and update all Operating Manuals as necessary. Ensure compliance with standards as defined in the Operating Manuals. Maintain up-to-date Quality Assurance Procedures that accurately reflect current practices. Ensure all local customs authorities' and statutory requirements are met or exceeded. Foster and maintain excellent business relationships with all customers and internal stakeholders. Actively participate in knowledge sharing and team collaboration. Lead or participate in Customs-related projects proactively. Complete necessary training to enable coverage of all accounts within the team. Promote team spirit and employee engagement.

Required Qualifications:

Strong administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail. Relevant customs experience or certification is advantageous. Familiarity with local customs authorities is beneficial. Experience with relevant Customs software is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook. Excellent customer-facing skills with a strong customer orientation. Ability to engage and support team members effectively. Capacity to meet deadlines consistently. Proficiency in Dutch and English.
