In the business Unit Health & Nutrition, we invest in growing our business in sustainable nutrition and healthcare ingredients:

  • We are the largest supplier of Omega 3 Ingredients for Human and Animal nutrition based on Algae fermentation.
  • We develop innovative natural & active nutrients for animal and human nutrition,
  • We develop highly specialized resorbable polymers for the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
  • We supply pharmaceutical-grade lactic acid and derivatives for usage in renal care.

This is a fast and high-growth business unit with an exciting innovation & product development pipeline.

As a Global Insights Manager on our health & nutrition team, you will ensure that customers and consumers are at the center of all our marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting product management, business development, and R&D teams by producing primary research and gathering secondary data that focuses on industry, customer & consumer insights. You will coordinate with sales and marketing managers for the purpose of co-presenting to customers the added value Corbion can bring to our external customers as well as supporting new product introductions with relevant market intelligence. You will report to the Senior Director, Global Market Research & Insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on market trends, industry developments, product innovation, customer, and consumer needs using various qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, including surveys and other primary research, secondary data, and customer intelligence to identify patterns, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on market analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, business development, R&D, marketing communication, and sales to integrate market insights into the strategic planning process.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Present primary research findings at key industry trade shows and association events.
  • Present insights or new commercialization of solutions to strategic customers.
  • Integrate localized knowledge to help uncover business gaps and opportunities in partnership with the business teams.
  • Other duties as determined by business needs.

About You

  • 6+ years of insights experience with a proven record of strategic thinking in the food or biochemical application industries. B2B experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, scientific/technically relevant degree, or related field.
  • Experience in B2B market research in the medical, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and/or nutritional ingredients industry preferred.
  • Strong storytelling skills as demonstrated via exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate as part of a cross-functional matrix organization.
  • Fluent in a wide range of secondary data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Euromonitor, Innova, Mintel, Global Data, etc...).
  • Creative, independent thinker, and self-starter.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the agility to manage multiple initiatives and changing priorities/needs.
  • High proficiency in MS Office programs: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, Power BI.
  • Ability to interact with and influence all levels of the global organization, including senior executives.
  • Proven decision-making skills.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; effective coach and team player.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Up to 25% travel.
