About the role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pastry Chef to join our team at IZAKAYA Amsterdam. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for creating innovative and delicious desserts that showcase our Asian Fusion cuisine.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design and develop our menu offerings, ensuring they're both visually appealing and taste exceptional.
  • Produce high-quality desserts that meet our strict quality standards.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining our high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Collaborate with our chefs and staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of our kitchen, including inventory management and ordering.
  • Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in an Asian kitchen.
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Living in or near Amsterdam is a must.
