We are seeking a highly skilled System Owner to lead our Piping Systems team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our Technology Management department, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our piping systems, ensuring they meet the business objectives and market opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining a clear vision and strategy for the piping systems
- Managing the development and standardization of modular and scalable system families
- Coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure technology is developed according to systems engineering principles
- Embedding knowledge within the organization and setting up training and instructions
Requirements
- Academic level with a bachelor and/or master's degree in a technical direction, e.g. Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Automation or Electrical Engineer
- Demonstratable knowledge on this specific technical domain in a relevant industry
- Ability to translate high-level market and business requirements into technology and system development needs
- Project management qualities, capable of maintaining a clear overview and ability to prioritize effectively
