About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Integration Specialist to join our team at Fugro. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our business processes by spearheading the seamless integration of applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build robust integration patterns for applications and develop API platforms.
  • Analyze business requirements for automating information flow across enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure integration solutions adhere to best practices and architecture principles and produce comprehensive documentation.
  • Advise on cost-efficient use of Azure components to manage operational expenditures.
  • Provide guidance on security measures to address integration-related security implications.
  • Review integration capabilities during software product selection processes to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of business continuity strategies for integrations, to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Provide 3rd line support for integration solutions, addressing and troubleshooting incidents, performing core issue analysis and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated work experience in an international project-based company, and hands-on experience in Azure Integration Services.
  • Experience using hosting and managing APIs via Azure API Management.
  • Proficient in writing APIs in.Net, hosting App Services, static web apps.
  • Proven ability to establish, maintain and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for both existing and new services.
  • Proficient in any IAC (Infrastructure as a Code) like bicep or terraform for creating build and release pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Web Services, OData v4 Web Services, JSON and XML message formats.
  • Knowledge of building near real-time integrations.
  • Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104/AZ-204/AZ-305, Azure Architect or TOGAF are a plus.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
