Job Overview
Position Summary
As a Student Placement Coordinator at the Academy for Tourism (AT) and the Academy for Hotel and Facility (AHF) within Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), your role is pivotal in guiding students towards their professional aspirations. You will collaborate with your colleagues to facilitate impactful work placements that enhance students' skills and knowledge, preparing them for their future careers.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for students, placement supervisors, and partnering organizations. This encompasses:
- Managing placement agreements and related documentation;
- Responding to inquiries via email and assisting students at the front desk;
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM system;
- Verifying that all travel arrangements are documented and adhering to travel risk protocols;
- Processing embargo requests as needed;
- Engaging in account management to foster strong relationships with industry partners;
- Organizing information sessions and industry days for students.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from € 2,490.00 to € 3,408.78 per month (gross, based on full-time employment);
- Employment classified under scale 6 of the CAO HBO collective labor agreement, with the official title of Administrative Assistant;
- A one-year contract with the potential for a permanent position;
- Full reimbursement of commuting costs for public transport;
- Health insurance compensation;
- An annual end-of-year bonus of 8.3% and an 8% holiday allowance in May;

Candidate Requirements
- A flexible, service-oriented approach towards students, faculty, and colleagues;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Strong organizational and administrative skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to quickly learn new systems;
- Excellent command of Dutch and English to effectively support students and faculty.
