What You Will Experience

Collaborating closely with the Front Office team, you will play a vital role in welcoming guests and ensuring they have a memorable stay. The Front Office is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and delivering exceptional service.

As a Guest Services Associate, your primary responsibility will be to assist guests efficiently while adhering to hotel standards. Your role as the first and last point of contact is crucial in shaping guest satisfaction. You will serve as the hotel's ambassador, greeting all guests and guiding them throughout their experience at Hotel Okura Amsterdam. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing friendly, efficient, and professional assistance to guests during their stay;
  • Upholding the hotel’s service standards;
  • Familiarizing yourself with the preferences of our regular guests and VIPs;
  • Offering recommendations for activities and attractions in Amsterdam;
  • Assisting guests with room access and informing them about hotel amenities and local insights;
  • Coordinating transportation, taxi services, and parking arrangements;
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby and exterior area;

You will not be working in isolation; collaboration with various departments is essential to achieving outstanding results. Shifts will vary throughout the week, including morning, afternoon, and evening hours. You will work 5 days a week, totaling 7.6 hours each day, and be available for public holiday shifts.
