VP, Partnerships - EMEA
We're seeking an experienced executive to lead our partnerships team in EMEA. This role will be responsible for building our EMEA and global partnerships, working closely with key product, sales, and other leaders to drive growth. Your team will own end-to-end partnerships that help Adyen take its proposition to market and support Adyen's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the EMEA strategy for Partnerships that supports Adyen's objectives and aligns with our global Partnerships team.
- Lead a team of ~25 members, managing multiple teams and driving significant change across our partner model and processes.
- Prioritize EMEA strategy and deliver on the highest impact opportunities to drive commercial goals.
- Apply your expertise in partnerships to enable the broader team to make business decisions that support the wider commercial team.
- Serve as a senior executive stakeholder, providing strategic and consultative advice to influence the payment strategy of our partners.
- Recruit the right partners to open up new business opportunities and sectors.
- Drive a consistent flow of new business opportunities across our target markets.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to ensure effective collaboration.
- Grow top talent and coach team members, and encourage creativity and autonomy.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in a partnerships leadership role, preferably in Payments, Big/Fin Tech, including managing managers in EMEA, building executive-level enterprise relationships, and proven growth through partnerships.
- Experience in payments is required.
- Experience working as part of a global leadership team while driving the EMEA business.
- An energetic self-starter with a proven commercial edge, a track record of delivering results, and the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Comfortable and excited by being responsible for commercial goals and creating a measurable impact for the business.
- Can balance strategic thinking with world-class execution.
- An excellent communicator and team player with strong leadership skills and technical understanding.
