About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Corbion, a global leader in lactic acid and its derivatives. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving innovation and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to drive business insights and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI.
  • Software development skills and good practices such as Git, release management, unit tests, testing strategy.
  • DevOps/Agile way of working.
  • Analytical mindset and a critical way of thinking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work on-site in Gorinchem (NL) for 2-3 days per week, the rest can be spent working from home.
  • Fluent in English.
