Credit Controller

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Shell. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing risks and exposures that arise from sales with 3rd party customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts receivable for a region end-to-end, focusing on preventing overdue amounts from occurring.
- Structurally solve customer invoicing and operational issues, and continuously improve credit management activities from efficiency and effectiveness perspectives.
- Accountable for daily credit control operations, including receivables management, customer outreach, and internal stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare account statements, send reminders, perform collection calls, initiate disputes, and monitor progress.
- Ensure effective receivables management through blocking charge tokens, handing over debt to collection agencies, negotiating solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and foster good working relationships with Sales and other business partners to resolve issues, improve core processes, and deliver improved results.
- Book bank statements, cash apply, and allocate, perform refunds, accounts reconciliations, and write-offs.
- Report AR balances, ageing, insights, and focus areas.
- Identify risks and areas for improvement to prevent bad debt and decrease ageing receivables.
- Participate in various projects and ad-hoc tasks.
- Knowledge in Receivables Management, Accounting, Finances, and "Order to Cash" processes.
- Cash collection process experience within an international environment.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office packages.
- Academic level (HBO level) working/thinking.
- Trust IT, Business Central, and SalesForce experience a plus.
- Scale-up, automotive, or energy environment experience a plus.
- Internal and external communication, written and spoken.
- Reporting and analysis.
