About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our Next Generation Battery Technology program at Holst Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the technical and market roadmap for this exciting program, leveraging our R&D capabilities to gain further market traction and drive tangible business for our partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the technical and market roadmap for the Next Generation Battery Technology program
  • Lead technical project management for selected complex multi-stakeholder projects
  • Support the technical program roadmap and projects by translating relevant state-of-the-art research topics into experimental plans and working closely with team members to execute them
  • Write and execute funded projects in both national and European contexts
Requirements
  • PhD in Electrochemistry, Battery technology, Materials Science or related research
  • At least five years experience, after completion of your PhD work, with R&D in battery technology and preferably in thin-film technologies
  • Market/customer-driven insight in research and development programmes
  • Proven ability to organize, structure and manage activities and people to realize agreed targets
  • Hands-on mentality, taking responsibility, and ability to organize projects and work in an efficient and cooperative way
  • Excellent communication skills in English, towards a wide variety of audiences
