Job Title: Quantum Cryptography Researcher
The Eindhoven University of Technology is seeking a researcher to work on the applications of Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) in quantum cryptography. PUFs are physical entities that can be used as a unique identifier, and their use in quantum cryptography enables secure authentication without the need to trust remote devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- System modeling and design of protocols for secure authentication using PUFs
- Security analysis of quantum cryptography systems
- Collaboration with experts in fiber optics and physics
Requirements:
- Master's degree in theoretical physics, cryptography, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and research-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Motivated to develop teaching skills and coach students
- Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level)
