Enterprise Architect for Support Functions

About the Role
TenneT is a leading company in the energy transition, and we are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to join our Business Technology Organization (BTO). As a Support Functions Domain Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic ambitions by developing and implementing architecture standards for support functions like Finance, HR, and IT services.
Your Responsibilities
- Establish principles, governance, and guidance for maturing our support functions capability, with a focus on standardization and modularization;
- Lead the support functions architecture board and support functions architecture guild to ensure a shared architectural vision;
- Monitor implementation of key support functions related projects and ensure proper escalation and reporting to senior management stakeholders;
- Develop the target architecture and roadmap together with business and outline how these goals are realized;
- Set expectations for quality, consistency, and delivery, ensuring that those standards are met and improved over time;
- Proactively identify, analyze, review, and evaluate ideas, projects, and opportunities on support functions topics.
Your Profile and Background
- 10+ years of experience in a similar function, preferably with business understanding;
- Strong experience in leadership roles, focusing on architectural solutions for strategic importance;
- Strong experience with large software suites in support systems, such as Finance (SAP4HANA), HR (Success Factors), and ITSM (e.g. ServiceNow);
- Capable of functionally guiding IT Architects in the support functions domain;
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF and ArchiMate are preferred;
- Good communication and presentation skills in English, with fluency in German and/or Dutch being an advantage.
