Undutchables is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Financial Operations and Team Management. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational success within the organization.

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing both financial and HR administration, ensuring that back-office processes run seamlessly, allowing your team to focus on what matters most: recruitment success and business growth.

  • Leading a Small but High-Performing Finance and Administration Team: You will lead a small but high-performing finance and administration team that directly supports recruitment operations.
  • Maintaining Flawless Financial Administration: You will maintain flawless financial administration, including payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and vendor payments - all critical to keeping recruitment processes running smoothly.
  • Ensuring Accurate and Timely Salary Payments: You will ensure accurate and timely salary payments in compliance with industry-specific agreements.
  • Advising on Operational Decisions: You will advise on operational decisions, particularly around workforce management, and ensure full compliance with labor laws and recruitment sector regulations.
  • Managing the HR Function: You will manage the HR function, including oversight of recruitment staff, with a focus on employee retention, development, and attracting new talent.
  • Creating a Thriving Work Environment: You will create an environment where your team can thrive - promoting efficiency, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have a background in financial or business administration, with significant experience in managing a team and back-office functions in the recruitment industry. You should also bring a solid understanding of financial processes and HR operations, and be familiar with the compliance needs of the recruitment sector.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: You should be a strong, hands-on leader with a strategic mindset, able to balance the demands of a fast-moving industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should be an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders and employees at all levels.
  • Language Skills: You should be a business fluent English speaker. Fluency in Dutch is considered a significant plus, but is not mandatory.
  • Cultural Competence: You should have a good understanding of cultural differences and be able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
