ABN AMRO seeks a highly skilled Lending Process Expert to drive strategic optimisation initiatives and lead the way in improving lending processes and tools. As a key member of the Credit Process Management team, you will be responsible for enhancing front-office efficiency and the overall client experience by continuously improving credit and collateral tools and processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in lending, with a proven track record of leading optimisation change initiatives. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards achieving ambitious targets.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Drive initiatives focused on change, innovation, and optimisation within the lending domain across Financial Solutions (FS).
  • Assess existing tools and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Research, explore, and recommend innovative solutions for process and tool optimisation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process and tool enhancements, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Lending, Optimisation, and/or Change Management domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of lending products, systems, and work processes.
  • Experience with simplification, automation, and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform detailed analyses.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions that comply with regulations.
  • Adaptability to the evolving landscape of financial regulations.
  • Keen attention to detail for compliance and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch.
Benefits

We offer:

  • A gross monthly salary of €83,000, based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • A Benefit Budget of 11% of your salary, allowing you to acquire additional employment benefits.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • A personal development budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000.
