Citizen Development Communications Manager Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Citizen Development team as a Communications Manager Intern. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the content of weekly presentations, scheduling meetings, and organizing speakers and facilitators for our Digital Communities of Practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a content strategy to fuel the operational strategy of the team.
  • Coordinate with external facilitators and develop strategies for our Citizen Development Digital Communities.
  • Review and refine content and training materials to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
  • Write engaging pieces for internal and external communications.
  • Assist with the logistics and organizational strategy of our Citizen Development Digital Communities.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from forms and surveys to inform future initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries to the Citizen Development team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication science, journalism, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in tech, digitalization, and the democratization of technology.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and think critically to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Power Platform is a plus.
