Position Summary

The Innovation Management group at RSM is seeking exceptional candidates for a faculty role as an assistant professor in the domain of innovation management. As a new member of our academic community, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of advancing knowledge and practice in this vital area.

Qualifications

We value continuous learning and development; therefore, you are not expected to have all the answers from the outset. We are particularly interested in candidates who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • A completed PhD or one that is expected to be defended in the near future in fields such as management, organization, strategy, organizational behavior, marketing, or a related discipline, with a focus on creativity and/or innovation.
  • Outstanding teaching abilities that inspire and engage students.
  • A proven track record of research excellence, evidenced by publications in reputable academic journals.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

About the Employer

This role is situated within the Innovation Management group of RSM's Department of Technology and Operations Management. It presents a unique opportunity to thrive in an inclusive academic environment that prioritizes your professional and personal development.

Innovation Management is one of the three key areas of focus within the department, which is dedicated to the advancement of strategies and processes that drive innovation.

The group consists of approximately 20 faculty members and PhD candidates, engaged in teaching various programs, including our own master's program and several bachelor's and master's programs offered by RSM. Our specialized MSc in Innovation Management is recognized as one of the leading programs globally.
