Position Summary

The Innovation Management team at RSM is seeking exceptional candidates for a faculty role as an assistant professor in the realm of innovation management. The successful candidate will become part of our esteemed group, commencing their journey in early 2025 or at a mutually convenient time.

Candidate Profile

We value continuous learning and knowledge enhancement, and we welcome candidates who exhibit one or more of the following qualifications:

  • A completed PhD or one that is anticipated to be defended in 2025 in fields such as management, organization, strategy, organizational behavior, marketing, or a related discipline, focusing on creativity and/or innovation from a prestigious business school.
  • Outstanding teaching abilities that inspire engagement and enthusiasm among students.
  • A proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated by publications in or submissions to highly regarded academic journals.
  • Proficiency in English at a professional level; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.

The employment conditions align with the collective labor agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU), with salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, potentially reaching a maximum of 5,929.00 gross per month (scale 11 CAO NU) based on a full-time commitment of 38 hours.

This opportunity is provided by the Innovation Management group within RSM's Department of Technology and Operations Management. It represents a chance to secure a full-time position in an inclusive academic environment that prioritizes and invests in your professional and personal development.

Innovation Management is one of the three key business domains within the Technology and Operations Management department, concentrating on the development of strategies, structures, and processes for innovation.

The group consists of approximately 20 faculty members and PhD candidates, delivering instruction in our own master's program as well as in two of RSM's bachelor programs and several full-time and part-time master's and MBA programs. Our specialized MSc in Innovation Management ranks among the top programs globally.
