Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Engineer to join our team at DPG Media. As a key member of our product team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, systems, and processes required to support and secure our software development, machine learning, and security operations.
Responsibilities- Design, configure, and manage infrastructure components based on AWS, implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to automate provisioning, deployment, and scaling of resources.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of software applications, collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
- Deploy and configure software applications, services, and microservices across different environments, optimizing application performance and troubleshooting deployment-related issues.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, availability issues, and security threats, setting up log management and analysis tools to ensure proper visibility into system and application behavior.
- Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and vulnerability management, conducting regular security audits and risk assessments, and implementing appropriate security controls.
- Set up and manage infrastructure and tools required for machine learning workflows, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, and model deployment, collaborating with data scientists to optimize machine learning pipelines and ensure scalability.
- Automate manual tasks and workflows using scripting languages and configuration management tools, implementing orchestration frameworks to manage complex application architectures.
- Participate in incident response activities, including diagnosing and resolving system failures, performance issues, and security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
