Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Procurement/Supplier Quality department in Papendrecht. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality performance of suppliers and initiating actions to address any issues that may arise. Your primary goal will be to ensure continuous compliance with our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Regularly monitor supplier quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and report on supplier quality data to inform decision-making.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and participate in internal meetings to discuss supplier quality performance.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues.
- Collaborate with global SQE colleagues to share best practices and improve the Supplier Quality organization.
- More than 4 years' experience in engineering/production, preferably in working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of wiring – electrical products, processes, technologies, and quality requirements.
- Skilled in quality systems, tools, and methods, with the ability to teach and facilitate continuous improvement team events.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English, with good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office apps, including Excel and Access.
