We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to join our Strategy Execution & Implementation team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex change projects that drive the bank's strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, managing all phases of project execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for senior management and stakeholders, providing expert guidance on strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure support for strategic changes and projects, and drive their implementation.
  • Establish yourself as an authority in your area of expertise, enabling fellow professionals to enhance their skills.
  • Communicate complex programmes effectively, deciding on the approach to be taken in projects.
  • Focus on the long-term, building trusted relationships with counterparts and driving results.
  • Advise on highly complex matters with significant impact on the bank, coordinating their resolution.
  • Manage client relationships, delivering solutions to challenges and leading a team of consultants and business experts.
  • Organize and chair meetings between key project stakeholders, ensuring continuous alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Monitor progress against project timelines, tracking risks and issues, dependencies, and interdependencies.
  • Report project progress and risks to clients.
About the Team

You will be part of our Strategy Execution & Implementation department, one of the six Consultancy Expertise teams. Our team delivers impactful change projects that contribute to the bank-wide strategy.

Requirements
  • A university-level education with 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in consultancy.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Extensive project/programme management experience, preferably in financial institutions.
  • Highly experienced in stakeholder management on the most senior level.
  • Experience in and extensive knowledge of different methodologies, such as Agile and Prince2.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch.
