Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences. The successful candidate will be part of an international network of collaborating scholars and practitioners, working under the Horizon Europe project KEEPCARING.

The project aims to promote wellbeing and resilience of the healthcare workforce in EU hospitals in the surgical pathway, to promote onboarding as well as employee retention by systematically investigating job stress and possible solutions. The postdoc will explore what new structural interventions might work at the team level, using the novel concept of co-work design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on work stress and burnout in healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement co-work design interventions at the team level
  • Collaborate with an international multidisciplinary team, including consortium members from all over Europe
  • Represent EUR in project team meetings
  • Translate research results into clear insights and advice for healthcare workers
Requirements
  • PhD in the social sciences or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in user-oriented research methods, preferably in the field of work stress and/or job design
  • Talented researcher with scientific publications, conference presentations, and/or social impact
  • Excellent writing and conversation skills in Dutch and English
