We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Damen Workboats Engineering High-Speed Craft department.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will play a key role in the development and optimization of mechanical systems for our vessels, ensuring compliance with industrial standards and classification requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize mechanical systems for our vessels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Monitor engineering progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time
- Ensure appropriate quality of engineering work within one or more projects at a technical level
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Mechanical (Maritime) Engineering
- Interest in innovation and an open mindset to new technologies
- Proactive, creative, and accurate working approach
- Ability to work in a team, plan and organize, and learn new skills sets
- Dynamic international working environment focusing on technology and innovation
