Location: Remote or Hybrid.

Contract Duration: 12+ months.

Work Mode: Onsite or Hybrid (flexible)

Job Description:

At Next-Link, we are searching for a seasoned Python Developer with in-depth knowledge of Azure to join our team. As a Senior Python Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems using Python, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party APIs and services, ensure high-quality code, and optimize system performance.



Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience developing complex backends using Python.
  2. Experience in developing applications using RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  3. Experience with Azure functions, MSSQL, FastAPI framework, Docker, and (Azure) Service Bus.
  4. Experience in integrating third-party APIs and services.
  5. Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
  6. Familiarity with Azure pipelines or similar CI/CD tools.
  7. Understanding of software design patterns, testing patterns, and architecture principles.
  8. Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Additional Qualifications:

  1. Relevant degree or equivalent experience in web development technologies and Agile methodologies.
  2. Experience working in corporate environments, preferably in financial services, in an Agile way (using Scrum).
  3. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional teams.
  4. Adaptability to changing requirements and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Proven ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
  6. Orientation towards understanding and addressing customer needs.
  7. Fluent in English (required).
  8. Based / working in The Netherlands (hybrid home/office).
