We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to join our team of Power Failure Investigators at DNV. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our customers in the Energy sector by conducting and leading Power Failure Investigations.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the trusted senior advisor to our customers, conducting and leading Power Failure Investigations on a component and system level.
- Perform site inspections, dismantle components, study relevant information, conduct interviews, and perform a thorough analysis to deliver reports and presentations on the root cause of the problem.
- Lead a team of professionals to achieve high-quality results, incorporating testing and other methods to collect further evidence.
- Develop and implement structured and visualization methods to communicate findings to customers and other stakeholders.
- Manage and execute projects, understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality content.
- Support business development as a selling consultant.
- 8-10 years of experience with electricity grid components on medium and high-voltage levels, with a specialization in power cables.
- Deep understanding of failure mechanisms of grid components and power system grids.
- Experience in performing asset failure root cause analysis and FMECA analyses, risk assessments on power system and equipment fleet levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, with a Master of Science in respective engineering fields.
- Experience as a project manager, leading international projects.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
