We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Sommelier. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and a strong background in luxury hospitality.



Key Responsibilities


  • Proactively sell wine to guests and provide expert pairing recommendations
  • Operate efficiently in the restaurant, taking orders and serving guests with precision and care
  • Develop and maintain excellent guest relationships, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service
  • Contribute to the development of the restaurant's wine list, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant supervision and service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Requirements


  • Fluency in Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written
  • Similar work experience in luxury hotels and/or restaurants
  • Excellent wine knowledge, with certification
