About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Novall Engineering Services B.V. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing design solutions that meet the needs of our clients within the (petro) chemical and maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Design Engineer will include:

• Performing design and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Contributing to requirements analysis, concept generation, general system architecture, system design specifications, identification, evaluation of design options and support RFQ processes and evaluations.

• Writing technical documents, equipment specifications, contract specifications, and reports, effectively communicating complex concepts and data.

• Facilitating communication with stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment on technical solutions.

• Participating in discussions with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on technical aspects of proposed solutions.

• Supporting cost evaluations provided by suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborating with internal departments to optimize project outcomes.

Requirements

As a Design Engineer, you will need to possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Bachelor or Master degree in one of the related fields.

• Minimum five years of experience, preferably in complex shipbuilding projects.

• Expertise in a variety of design concepts and practices, including technologically advanced design and proposal processes.

• Good command of the Dutch (preferred) and English language both written and verbal.

• A pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.

• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
