The Payroll Operations Coordinator will oversee and execute all facets of salary processing for Samskip. Furthermore, the Payroll Operations Coordinator will be instrumental in the forthcoming payroll system transition, ensuring a seamless shift and ongoing precision and efficiency in payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management:

Administer and oversee bi-weekly/monthly salary disbursement for all personnel, guaranteeing prompt and precise payments. Maintain comprehensive payroll documentation and ensure adherence to corporate policies and legal standards. Address payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

System Transition:

Engage in the strategizing and implementation of payroll system migration. Collaborate with IT and HR departments to ensure data accuracy throughout the transition. Conduct system evaluations, identify potential challenges, and devise solutions. Provide training and assistance to staff on the updated payroll system.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure payroll operations comply with applicable laws and internal guidelines. Generate and submit payroll reports to management and relevant regulatory bodies. Remain informed about changes in payroll legislation and regulations.

Process Enhancement:

Identify areas for improvement within payroll operations. Implement best practices to boost efficiency and accuracy in salary processing.

Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other divisions to ensure smooth payroll integration and operations. Assist in financial planning and budget preparation related to payroll expenditures.
