YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are in search of a highly capable and driven Maintenance and Operations Specialist to become a vital member of our dynamic team. The successful applicant will be tasked with supervising the maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities, co-managing supplier relationships, and spearheading projects related to facility enhancements and equipment upgrades. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Manage the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring peak performance and adherence to industry standards.
- Identify the root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely provision of high-quality services.
YOUR PROFILE
You possess:
Ideally a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in supplier management and equipment maintenance, preferably within a laboratory or technical setting. Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and facilities is advantageous. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a strong sense of accountability. Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in Dutch and English.In addition to a stimulating role in a pleasant working environment, you can anticipate the following benefits when you take on the position of Maintenance and Operations Specialist:
A full-time gross salary starting from 3,300€ per month, contingent on professional experience. A holiday allowance equivalent to 8% of the annual gross salary. A full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. The option to work from home two days a week while maintaining a full-time position. An attractive pension scheme. A one-year employment contract, with the intention of transitioning to permanent employment thereafter. 27 vacation days annually for a full-time role.
