SENIOR MANAGER OF GLOBAL LIFESTYLE FRAGRANCES

Location: Amsterdam

At Coty, we are seeking a skilled Senior Manager for Lifestyle Fragrances to propel our strategic initiatives for the future. You will be part of the Consumer Beauty Division and collaborate with the Global Brand Team. Our European portfolio encompasses licensed brands including Bruno Banani, David Beckham, and Mexx.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Senior Manager for Lifestyle Fragrances, you will take charge of brand strategies, oversee new product innovation, and develop creative communication initiatives alongside comprehensive omni-channel campaigns. You will independently manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with team objectives.

  • Drive growth strategies encompassing market coverage, brand prioritization, pricing strategies, packaging solutions, profitability targets, and channel distribution requirements.
  • Collaborate on a mid to long-term business development strategy with other markets and strategic partners to ensure brand focus and execution aligned with established priorities.
  • Product Innovation: Spearhead the design, development, and validation of scalable initiatives to enhance the value pipeline of licensed brands.
  • Lead the integrated communication strategy, creating plans and playbooks to support brand and portfolio initiatives, with a strong emphasis on digital, social media, and e-commerce activities.
  • Ensure commercial readiness: Deliver timely integrated communication plans and playbooks to effectively support brand initiatives.
  • Assess and analyze brand and portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to refine strategies and uncover new opportunities.
  • Manage daily interactions with various brand licensors to ensure project alignment and strategic priority progression.
  • Oversee budget management and maintain ownership of the P&L for your projects.

As the Senior Manager for Lifestyle Fragrances, you will report to the Senior Director of Lifestyle Fragrances and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Consumer Insights, R&D, Commercial Planning, Procurement, and local markets.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You should have a passion for fragrances and beauty in global markets, possess strong commercial acumen, excel in building relationships across cross-functional teams and markets, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, diverse, and international setting.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Over 5 years of experience in brand management, product innovation, and campaign development within the Beauty sector, primarily focused on fragrance.
  • Relevant experience in a global organization or exposure to multicultural environments.
  • Proven expertise in product development and collaboration with R&D, supply chain, and Consumer Insights teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in equity strategy and campaign execution.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactivity, and ownership, with the ability to balance overarching objectives with detailed execution.
  • A keen eye for design and a creative approach.
  • A genuine passion for beauty and the opportunity to develop fragrance brands based on consumer insights.
