SENIOR MANAGER OF GLOBAL LIFESTYLE FRAGRANCES

Location: Amsterdam

At Coty, we are seeking a skilled Senior Manager for Lifestyle Fragrances to propel our strategic objectives for the future. You will be an integral part of the Consumer Beauty Division, collaborating with the Global Brand Team. Our European portfolio features licensed brands such as Bruno Banani, David Beckham, and Mexx.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Senior Manager for Lifestyle Fragrances, you will take charge of brand strategies, oversee new product initiatives, and develop creative communications alongside comprehensive omni-channel campaigns. You will independently manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with both personal and team objectives.

  • Drive growth strategies that encompass brand prioritization, pricing strategies, packaging innovations, profitability targets, and channel distribution requirements.
  • Collaborate on a mid to long-term business development agenda with various markets and strategic partners to ensure brand focus and execution aligned with established priorities.
  • Product Development: Spearhead the design, development, and validation of scalable initiatives to enhance the value pipeline of licensed brands.
  • Lead the integrated communication strategy, crafting plans and playbooks that bolster brand presence, particularly in digital, social, and e-commerce domains.
  • Ensure commercial readiness: deliver timely integrated communication plans and playbooks to effectively support brand initiatives.
  • Analyze and assess brand and portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive landscapes to refine strategies and uncover new opportunities.
  • Manage daily interactions with multiple brand licensors to ensure project progression and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Oversee budget management and take ownership of the P&L for your projects.

As the Senior Manager for Lifestyle Fragrances, you will report to the Senior Director of Lifestyle Fragrances and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Consumer Insights, R&D, Commercial Planning, Procurement, and local markets.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You will have a deep passion for fragrances and beauty in global markets, possess robust commercial acumen, excel in building relationships across cross-functional teams and markets, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse international setting.

Additionally, you should have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in brand management, product development, and campaign strategy within the Beauty sector, primarily focusing on fragrance.
  • Relevant experience in a global organization or exposure to multicultural environments.
  • Proven experience in product development and collaboration with R&D, supply chain, and Consumer Insights teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in equity strategy and campaign execution.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactiveness, and ownership, with the ability to balance high-level objectives and detailed execution.
  • A keen eye for design and a demonstrated creative flair.
  • A genuine passion for beauty and the drive to develop scent-based brands informed by consumer insights.
